My name is Julie Ritchie, and I started out surprisingly enough, in agriculture, then archaeology, then finally landing on the right ‘a’ occupation in aviation. I now work out of Villeneuve control tower. I’ve worked here for 5 years, and loved every minute of it. Before that I was flight services out of Norman Wells for 8 years.
My husband is a 737 captain for Flair, and worked as the chief pilot for NorthWright Airways before that. We have 2 school aged daughters, and we keep busy with camping, traveling, work and family.
My job within Angel Flight Alberta is pilot intake and application processing. I keep up with new applications, answering questions regarding requirements and other volunteer opportunities. Then I gather the required paperwork from our new members, and supply them with their information and next steps to take in the orientation process.
